This Add-On adds MediathekSuche.de to the list of browser search-engines.
In addition it registers the search-keyword "ms" within Firefox. This means that typing anything into the browser's address bar prefixed with "ms" will issue a search on mediatheksuche.de - even when this search-engine is currently not the default search service. For example, entering "ms Game of Thrones" will search all German video-on-demand TV portals for episodes of or content about the popular TV series.
German meta-search-engine for Television content MediathekSuche.de enables users to search available up-to-date catch-up TV content in most German TV broadcasting station video portals (so called Mediatheken). This includes mainstream portals ARD Mediathek and ZDF Mediathek and private station portals TV Now (RTL) and Joyn (Pro7Sat1) - which can be searched for shows, episodes and films, all on a one-stop site. Results also include mediathek download if the content owner allows it.
