View the original datasheet PDF in the browser's native PDF viewer instead of the Octopart's HTML PDF viewer. Octopart has great parametric search, but I never liked the HTML viewer since it was slow and adds an unnecessary step to something the browser already handles.
The extension parses the HTML viewer and gets the PDF link by a regex, then sets the URL of the tab to the PDF (This extension is very small, you can easily audit it yourself if you want!). Source code is at https://github.com/peter-tanner/Redirect-octopart-datasheets
