Privasearch

Privasearch is an essential browser extension that empowers you to prioritize your privacy while using Google. By blocking tracking cookies, it prevents Google from connecting your searches with your account or building a search history.

As a result, you won't receive personalized search results, promoting unbiased search experiences. With Privasearch active, Google will perceive you as logged out of your account during searches (observe the "Sign in" button at the top right).

However, you will remain logged in on other Google services like YouTube or Gmail. To make changes to your search settings, allow the "Search Preferences Cookie" in the add-on settings. By default, this preferences-cookie is blocked, ensuring any changes to your search settings are discarded to maintain your privacy.

It is essential to note that while Privasearch effectively blocks tracking cookies, there are other tracking methods, such as IP addresses or browser fingerprints, that this add-on cannot shield against.
