Notify on Events

tiny addon that can display a notification and optinally play a sound when a download starts, completes or fails, which is a little more noticeable than the default download icon change

Usage:

  1. install the add-on
  2. download any file the build-in download manager
Notes:
  1. Permissions:
    • "downloads", to read the download events
    • "notifications", to display the notification
    This add-on tries to use the minimal number of required permissions to successfully fullfill its intended purpose.
    If you think this could be improved please let me know by opening an issue and i will try to look into it.
